Anyone want to hazard a guess as to which club have scored the most goals in the English leagues this season?
Nope? How about League Two side Luton Town? Did anyone have that written on their answer sheets?
Thought not. The League Two side’s form has been utterly ridiculous this season, thanks to an unrelenting desire to score goals for fun.

So far, so League Two.
But when you see that they’ve been scoring goals like this, you soon start to realise they aren’t having an ordinary season…

That goal from Olly Lee was claimed to have been a footballing rarity, in that it was technically scored from a different postcode.
Speaking of Olly Lee…We should also introduce his brother, Elliot. The pair are the sons of Newcastle legend Rob Lee, so they’ve got a bit of footballing pedigree behind them…

But it’s now the brothers who are doing the business on the pitch.
Olly has bagged himself four goals (including the aforementioned worldie), while Elliot has scored six in 18 games this season.
It was also a great touch that the Lee brothers will be facing their dad’s old stomping ground in the FA Cup third round.

Whilst Manchester City’s ratio is slightly better (46 in 15), the manner of some of Luton’s wins have been absolutely remarkable.
They started the season with an 8-2 victory over Yeovil, and have subsequently scored seven goals in a game twice more in the past two months.
They stuck seven past Stevenage in a 7-1 victory back in October, before repeating the feat against Cambridge last month with some truly sumptuous strikes.

Obviously it’s not great news for the fans who enjoy seeing their team bang in goals for fun week in, week out, but the Hatters’ last two league defeats have both been 3-0 losses at home.

Anyone would think League Two clubs might not have that much consistency…
Thing is, they’re not just a club to watch for this season, they’re for ever seasonAs any Luton fan will tell you, it’s been a rollercoaster journey in the past 15 years.
They were League One champions in 2005, had two season in the Championship before the club had three successive relegation down to the Conference.
Having secured promotion back into the league in a campaign where they scored 102 goals and won 101 points, the smart money would certainly be on seeing them return to League One football next season.
